Anna Shelton-Brownell has over a decade of experience helping students and adults realize their musical potential. She earned her degree in music composition from the Rudi E. Scheidt School of Music at The University of Memphis. Today, she is a member of the Germantown and Collierville Area Piano Teachers Association and has been through numerous recitals, auditions, festivals, and competitions with her students. When she is not teaching piano you can find her accompanying vocalists or singing in the Memphis Symphony Chorus. Anna’s love for music is second only to her love for teaching. She strives to cultivate a studio environment that is built on positive reinforcement, uplifting attitudes, and creativity. Knowing that all students are individuals and may require different needs, Anna is ready to develop a finely tuned method and plan to help each one reach their full potential. If you feel like this could be a good fit for you, please don’t hesitate to contact via phone, text, or email.

I've been working with Anna for nearly a year now and I can say that she is the best of the best. She's very flexible in teaching so she can help you with whatever you need, songs, techniques or rhythms.
She explains things exquisitely and makes sure I fully understand what I'm learning.
